GM 1 wire 120 amp alt. Just for the simple fact that if & when that taurus alt goes bad its gonna cost ya what?? $200 for a new one or around a $100 to have it rebuilt. True they are not an inexpensive alt to go buy at the parts store. But I would just go back to the boneyard and get another. I know some of the other guys have picked up more than one when they did the conversion in the first place
Btw...gm, dodge, ford...who cares. Isn't that what hot rodding is all about? No backlash here! I look forward to all the junk people are going to talk when they hear about the engine swap I'm going to do
