A $5,000.00 diesel repair could be 1-3 weeks of down time. Suddenly that $5,000.00 repair really cost 7-15k with the down time. (down time = no work)

IMHO.. we will start to see an increase in gassers in this line of work. There are many fleets who are going with gassers to replace diesels... I wonder why?

The 6.2 gasser would be a very wise decision OP.
I very good point indeed. This is why my company fleet went to all v10 trucks for class 5 and lower. Not only were the repair bills terribly expensive on the diesel trucks, but when they were in the shop they still had to pay us. So far on mine after 2 years and 45,000 miles it has been in the shop once, and this was for a bad computer.
