Thanks again for your feedback. You are absolutely correct about the six-speed transmission ... the shifting is sooooo smooth you can barely feel it, and that ultra smooth power curve translates to non-stop acceleration.
When I said I told my salesman to drive my truck so that he would experience the amazing accelertion for himself, and the first thing he said when he came back was his amazement that he didn't let off the gas at 60 .. he said the truck was still pulling HARD when it hit 80 and he said it felt like it would just keep going.
I'm toying with the idea of adding a nice cat-back exhaust system just to capitalize on that V-8's growl but I doubt I'll do much more. Adding chips, would void my warranty and truthfull I don't need any more speed than I already have. I don't race. Like I said, I just enjoy getting on the expressway REAL fast!
