I would treat it as a used car unless they warranty it to 46k as stated above. I've heard the same stories on all the demo cars: Owner/manager use it as a "demo". Fact is, dealership staff use it for various reasons, including transporting customers. Makes no difference if it's a "used" or "demo" 10,000 miles. The car can't tell a difference. One might argue that the demo miles are more severe as no particular person is concerned with the longevity of the vehicle.
