The FWD or F/awd Lincoln is never expected to tow 3+ tons "smoothly" nor does it have RWD combined with the LIGHT ***-endedness of a PU.

There is a reason the SHO only comes with F/awd, restrict that level of torque to only the front wheels, turn off TC, and you're in for a WILD Ride. But I would expect that any FWD EcoBoost would have the engine automatically detuned in all of the lower gear ratios.

Can you actually turn off TC in the SHO?

I would bet not, or else the SHO engine gets severely derated/detuned with TC off.
