1990 Ford F150 2WD

I got this 1990 F150 in a trade, and don't have the time to make it as nice as I'd like to. I have driven it around the yard a bit, and it should be a great scrap/work/winter truck for anyone interested. Mileage is unknown as cluster has likely rolled over.

Specs:

300/4.9L Big Six - I have one in my personal truck and it's a great mix of low end grunt and decent MPG.
5-speed manual transmission
3.08 Rear end

The good:

Appears to have a newer radiator and newer alternator
I replaced all of the battery cables and put a good battery in it
Tires hold air and should have good enough tread to get you through the winter
Exhaust is recent and the truck is very quiet

The bad:

I was told it was sitting before I got it, so it will likely need a good tune-up and some fresh gas
Needs some brake work. I replaced the rear brake line, and that seemed to work for a few days, but the leak has came back. I just don't have enough time to get under it.
May need some attention to the cooling system, as it ran a little warm around the yard, but never overheated.
It's a beater - has some rust in the typical places, but the underbody and bed are actually cleaner than my '95.

The truck needs some love, but it's pretty complete and could make some good money. Also, the fiberglass cap in the picture is from a Chevy and just sitting on top, but you can have it if I get my asking price. I do have a grill for it as well. Because of the brake line, I would recommend towing it home.

Feel free to send an email with questions or to set up a time to check it out.

Thanks!
