Thanks for detailed pics and info.When my fan died I discovered several additional problems when I removed the fan motor, the harness connector to the resistor pack was corroded in the socket. Water leaking through the cowl seal allowed a puddle of water to build up in the bottom of the housing. The fan then blew the water around. For anyone running into this problem Dorman products makes a heater pack repair kit with a new pigtail harness which is about half the price of the OEM part. The Dorman PN is 973-404. Made that part of the repair easy, fixing the water leak not so easy.
