Mine does the same. Passenger side front of the valve train. On first start up it ticks for few seconds then goes away. Im figuring its an oil galley sludged. Cause it's esp loud if my truck gets a little low on oil. I have used Seafoam a couple times on the truck. It's got 224,xxx and counting. Drive it 70 miles almost everyday.
