It may not have been, since C8TZ-10876-A plastic replaced C7TZ-10876-B steel in 1968 and C9TZ-10876-A plastic replaced C8TZ-10876-A plastic in 1969.

the reason why peeps should not go by part number prefixes to ID what vehicles the part fits or what year it fits.
