I plow with it. With the stock alternator , the truck wants to quit qhen raising the plow during oprations. With all the accessories: light bar, wipers, radio, heater/defroster ,gps, etc., the demand is too great for the stock alternator.
If you haven't done so I would calc out the amp requirement (watts divided by volts)....What I am suspecting is happening is there is not enough reserve capacity...your existing alt can be upgraded to 200 amp but I am betting a duel battery is the key here.
