October will be the month that the '66 will be all one piece and a functioning truck. That's special enough.
I got into the Chevelle a little today. I thought I was gonna get both of the fenders blown in and back on the car. It turns out that they need a ton more work than I thought and I'd rather fix them off the car. I got the metal work done on the passenger side and most of the cellulite pounded out of the metal. The last guy to do the body work was NOT a perfectionist. He got it sorta-kinda close and troweled on half a gallon of bondo. I spent a good bit of time getting the metal a LOT closer. I still have to strip the rest of the mud, but all the thick nasty stuff is taken care of.
