You have an unusual engine in your truck. Not many in our group have the rather small 3.8L V6 and as a result, not many will be able to share their experiences regarding exhaust upgrades.

Most will say that it is a matter of personal choice. I would suggest a turbo style muffler, which is really a less effective muffler than OEM, but is not too loud.
