Here's a tip for closed knuckles.
since almost every one of them has pitting and or wear where the wiper seal sets on the knuckle, you have a hard time keeping 90w gear lube from leaking out and dirt/water from leaking in. I always just fill it with a good grade of chassis grease like lubriplate.
