Is the rear system putting out air any colder than the front? When you use the front head unit to change the supply zones, are they all correct? Have you cranked the temp all the way up to make sure heating is working correctly?

If the rear system is working correctly, I'd suspect the head unit. They have a self diagnostic feature, but mine was bad and didn't throw any errors. Drove me nuts for a day or two.
The rear system seems to be working, but I can't really tell since I am always driving. I do however, notice that the AC will blow colder if I have the rear system on. Is the Excursion's cabin just too big for the front system to cool it down without the use of the rear system? If I don't have any rear passengers, I usually leave the rear system off since it drips water onto my MBRP tip.

In regards to the self diagnostic on the head unit, should it automatically show some kind of code if something has gone wrong?

Heating seems to work just fine if I have the temp cranked all the way up.
