My xm/sirius comment above was probably around 10 years ago when I had xm. I moved over to Sirius about 6/7 years ago and have been pretty happy with it since (although the sound quality's questionable).

I don't know why they'd require you to take your camper off if you took it to the dealer. I'd just show up with it on and let them fix it in the parking lot. They have enough software tools at their disposal that'll pinpoint if it is the antenna that's crapping out.
