Us? I have never seen ethanol at any gas station here in SoCal.
When one drives the oversized tub that I do...that...so far has averaged 14.8 MPG overall
(according to the onboard computer), one stops at a lotta gas stations.
My three previous 2004/2005/2006 NotaFord and 2004 F150 Lariat Stupor Crew pickups got about the same MPG as the current oversized tub.
Didn't have to stop as much w/the 2008 conFusion 4 banger (traded it in on current oversized tub), as it got better MPG.
I usually don't bother checking MPG, because who in their right mind would buy a full sized pickup and then expect to get decent MPG?
The
only times I've bothered over the past 50 years: Gassed up the 2006 Titan, then drove to San Diego and back, filled it up when I returned: 18.6 MPG. This had to do w/a poll on titantalk.com
Was curious inre to the 2008 conFusion, did the same thing, same San Diego trip: 33 MPG. Ditsy MIL lives there.
