The specs discuss the engine braking with Tow/Haul and actually it works great. I haven't seen anything discussing the cruise control engine braking.

In previous cars & trucks I complained to myself that the cruise control was no help downhill. My 2011 XL (really lower case xl) 6.2L works pretty hard to supply engine braking if the cruse control is engaged. To be clear, that is with Tow/Haul off. Sometimes I turn the cruise control off downhill to avoid a shift to 2nd gear and 5,000+ RPM. Grudgingly I confess to 1) complaining of no engine braking with other cruise controls and 2) complaining of (severe) engine braking with my F-250s cruise control. Am I the only one??
