Ford has proven that with the ecoboost engine, the diesel option is a hard pill to swallow. The EB is diesel like in most ways except high maintenance costs, high initial costs and high fuel costs. For an extra 1-3 (if that) MPG's it's gonna have a very long break even point.

The 11,300 lbs that the ecoboost can tow is only limited by the chassis. The diesel will suffer the same dilemma.
