When it runs, it runs at all speeds, but when it's not running, it doesn't work at any speed. Where is the resistor, and what's the best way to check it?
The resistor is located in the engine compartment on the blower housing . Look for the wiring plug that attaches near the motor bulge. One screw to remove it. look for cracks and broken wires, or test each circuit with an ohmmeter. If this tests good, you may have wiring issues.
