Hey, i might have chopped up and butchered the frame and axles and the floor, oh yeah and the dash and the seat and the front clip, and the driveshaft ...., but I never messed with the horn wiring. So I tested the horns after work and neither one worked. I had to take the covers off, and clean the points and readjust the nut, and now they blow like crazy. I painted them and mounted them with separate ground wires. Then I jumpered them together and hot wired them to the battery and got that 50's sound of really loud dual horns. Maybe tomorrow I'll make it to town for a relay, then I can wire them up for good. If I can't find the horn button wire in the loom, I'll just tap into it were it emerges from the steering box. I'm afraid I've done a lot of that......Wouldn't it be good to put an inline fuse in the horn circuit, since it feeds right off the battery?
