Mine too - Programmer Cause?

The other day I posted some on another guy's thread because my truck started running badly too. I changed the CPS, but that fixed it for a quick run down the street and then it ran bad again.

I have a friend who is a master mechanic with all the scanners, gauges etc. So for a couple beers, he scanned my truck. The truck kept coming back with Error Code P0605. Sounds like PCM right?

My question for the forum, can using an aftermarket chip smoke the PCM? Just before it ran bad, I had moved up to switch position 2 (has a TS 4 position switch), then dialed back to switch position 1. That's when it started running bad. If my chip, or method of using it caused the issue, maybe this post saves you a PCM.
