When you say Satellite ready, did the truck have sirius when you bought it?

Reason I ask is if it did, you don't need a kit to install it. If it was working, and now it is not. You probably just need to pay for the subscription to get it working again.

I don't have Sirius in mine, it was not offered on the 2004 models. I know that my moms 2009 Expedition came with it for a year. She did not keep her subscription, so it no longer working. If she wanted it again she would not need to buy a kit, just contact Sirius or Ford and find out how to start her subscription again.
