If the Ford strealership had it for 47 days, what the hell are they doing to it? Didn't take Ford that long to build and ship it to its original destination. 12 days before they got it in a bay (only 2 diesel bays and techs)
15 days to pull the engine and get the warranty to look at the heads
Warranty rep asked for the heads to be cleaned and inspected by a machine shop.
10 more days for the work to be approved
8 more days to order parts
2 days so far on the reassembly

Ugh!

During this time the service manager that was handling my claim was let go, so that didnt help Im sure.

The truck is getting two new heads and gaskets/install paid for by the warranty and dealership to fix the blown head gasket issue. I am paying for ARP studs, new oil cooler, egr cooler, and coolant filter while they are at it. Since the dealership/warranty are covering all labor and the rental I wasnt that upset about all this as its not camping season yet.....but this is now too much
