Do you guys ever worry about resale value now that you have a gasser?

I tend to trade every 5-7 years it seems.

I sometimes worry about a gassers resale value(Will be first time gas owner) because I'm used to getting most of my money back because of the diesel.

Do you guys ever worry about that?Or do you even care?
I just traded last month and getting my money back out of 6.0 with 96,000 miles???? They deducted because of that Farmall under the hood that had no less than 8 WO's on it at that dealer all for engine failures and was running perfect when we traded it

First off you shouldn't be trading a diesel with only 96,000 miles, unless you are sick of working on it and warranty is running out and you are going to have to start paying.......

8- years ago you could be assured of your money back on a diesel. Now only dealers can offer warranty on used 100,000 mile trucks so outright private sales are down, like way down.....

Just depends what the 6.7 can do over the long haul. Hopefully prove itself and bring the diesel resale market back.

I mean, you don't visit other forums and read stories about Bow-tie owners and Goat head owners replacing their powerplants like you do with older Ford diesels......

Only time will tell......

I'm hoping this truck will be better than the last several trades have been in resale.
