Got my F350 back, mostly done, questions...

1st off thank you to the 3-4 guys that showed up over a year ago to try to help me swap the blown V10; you guys rock!!! Sorry the snow won...

My 99 F350 mud truck is back with a 01 V10 PI engine, trans, and rebuilt front axle that actually goes straight now and sorta stays in one lane!!!! And 38.5" TSL SXs that scream at me at 50mph but dont shake the hell out of the truck like the last tires. New engine makes 35hp and 15 more Torque from the factory. Should make a difference once I sort out the stupid EGR issues(emissions sucks), do any of you CT guys know if I can pass emissions if It has a 01 ECU in it? Will it show up when they plug in? Truck has headers so there's no EGR hookup and 01 intake has no EGR or DPFE or sensor.

Should I try to get a 5 star tune to pass emissions and delete the EGR and get the correct fuel map? $$$ is a issue right now, an 01 ECU is $150...tunes are $415+. ECU should solve the problem.

Truck has 6" Superlift, dual shocks up front, headers, 3" exhaust, 4.80 gears from the factory, AFE intake, some rust and electrical gremlins I'm chasing down. Should make about 350-375 hp and easily 450+ Torque at this point.

here's some pics;
