Thanks again, unfortunitely for me, finding a local used part is proving to be difficult, even the Ford dealer says it hard to get new. Pretty bad considering how common the failure of these units is. No recall of course since I guess there is no risk to safety, although I have read that on occasion the short between the GEM and the fuse panel has caused it to catch fire.
