I told my friend to let me try 1 more time, fired up like a new truck. Got home, no start. 2 days later, started. Problem solved? 1 week later, no start. Put scanner on it, P02291 code, very weak turning over. Checked batteries, very weak, charged 3-4 hrs. Full charge, starts like a new truck. Not used for 2 weeks. Yesterday went to use, no start. Batteries very week. Put scanner on it, P0263,(cyl-1 contribution fault), P0528 (fan drive sensor circuit malf), P0676(cyl 6 glow plug circuit), P2617, (crakshaft pos output ckt-open). Charge batteries to full. While starting, ICP=400-485psi, ICP-v .71, ICP Duty Cycle 85.1. Would not start. Now code P02291 (low oil pressure while starting). What direction do I go? 04-250, 194K miles, EGR delete, new fuel pressure kit,(blue spring), changed oil & filters 3 weeks ago,(all motorcraft, new O-rings), Alt. output=13.76 vdc
Icp needs a min. of 500 psi to start. Back to the hpo system. Next time it won't start try unplugging the icp. If it starts there's your propblem.
