Haha, if so, I was a grunt but during deployment our engineers kept getting f'ed up so I volunteered to sweep for IEDs, earning me the nickname of Sapper Joe.

Bomb).
Sapper was originally a British term. In this series, the star of the show was a sapper who went around exploding former WWII German Luftwaffe UXB's that had rained down on London.
He was killed in the final episode.
