I'm refreshing the brakes on my '60. A few days ago I left a new wheel cylinder in its plastic bag on the garage floor while I did something else.

My 1-year-old dog was sick twice that night.

Came back the next day and wondered where I had put the wheel cylinder. Looked all over the garage...everywhere. No sign of it.

I'm thinking she picked it up thinking the plastic bag would be fun to tear apart, discovered the chewy boots on the ends of the wheel cylinder, and decided whatever lubricant in there was tasty.

The dog ate my brakes.
