That was the first idea in my head, but I don't own a welder. Nor does anybody I know. I've welded on my truck before, but I used my school's welder, and I'm on winter break. Should I just leave it for the next 2 weks until I have access to the welder?
Sounds like you don't have much of a choice.....
A shop would do the repair fast and cheaply......I would guesstimate about $25-ish dollar repair to have a shop actually weld it in....Mig welder is the ticket...
