They had those two together in the 90's 250's/350's I know of at the least, so I don't see why not. Someone else might be able to tell you otherwise.
In stock form, the AOD was never offered behind anything larger than a 5.0/302 from Ford. The only exception was the police cars that were outfitted in the early 1980s with a 351 H.O. with an AOD transmission.
