Guys, I have a problem I hope you can help me with. I have a 1998 ford ranger 4x4 4.0 6 cyl. truck with a 5r55e automatic transmission thats bad .I would like to know if a 2006 5R55E automatic transmission would work, the guy I bought it from said it would but everyone else is saying the electronics will not work. I would also like to know what years will fit.Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
