The job of taking the cab off is not hard. I took my truck to Twisted Diesel in Chesapeake, VA and they had my cab off in 1.5 hours. Heads off and to the machine shop in a few hours. The longest part of the job was waiting for the inspection from the machine shop. Both heads were cracked, and had to be replaced. The total job took one week and I was back on the road and good to go. I now have almost 20 miles on my truck since the repair and I have not used a drop of oil or coolant since.
That is a BIG lie. If they told you that...Sorry they lied.

I did mine with cab on installed ARP head studs, truck went in my garage on a Saturday, rolled out on the next Saturday. Thats with having the heads checked.
