Part of the reasoning for lifting the rear is it has a very low hitch hight now. I don't have an adjustable hitch made for it yet. So i want to see how the truck responds to lifting the rear and dropping the front before i see what hitch hight it likes too. Right now with a straight hitch i think its only 16" i beleive we are allowed 26" but i will have to check.. I do know we are allowed 27% of the wheelbase for the hitch. Because i asked and the tech guy and i measured both the wheelbase and where the hitch could be and it puts it pretty far under the bed following the rule. So i'm going to work on moving that tomorrow and make some calls to see if i can find anyone around that has spring packs laying around that i can tear apart to stack hers (its my g/f's truck) up before the 7th.

I wasn't sure if i could cut the coils in front or not. I had read about heating up the coils with a torch to where they start to sag and set it that way but i'm not sure how that will affect the coils. I probably won't mess with that until last if at all, was just asking while i had a post on the subject.
