more details

thanks for the prompt replies guys,

i have a bit more information as i was a bit vague at first.
the wheelbase is approx 16.08 feet,
single rear axle with twin wheels
total lenght 25.59 feet
day cab
429 v8
auto trans

the weight on the vin plate is in the region of 14000 kilos (30,864 pounds)
the vehicle was origionally an airport de icer truck (if you google that you will find an image of what it was)it had a large body with water and de icer tanks, a 6 cylinder engine for the pumps and a hydraulic arm with a basket on it.

i need to get as accurate a guestimate on its naked weight as it is now so i can calculate the weight of the back i intend to fit and therefore the new unladen weight of the vehicle, then i will know the payload i will have left.

the trouble we have over here is if the gross weight is on or below 7.5 metric tonnes i can register as private hgv and drive on a car licence, get cheap insurance and cheap road tax.

it is for my own private use for transporting my race car when it is finished,

i have tried to google the vin number but i think i have got one of the digits wrong as it will not enter into anything. i have the correct amount i think the a between the v and the 4 is wrong 1f0pf82k1kva45699.

i hope this new information is more usefull and i really appreciate your replies, thanks again, paul
