Is it right to categorize the FORD N-SERIES as a CABOVER TRUCK????

I took the time to create a PICTURE GALLERY or ALBUM about CLASSIC FORD CABOVER TRUCKS on my FACEBOOK, among other CLASSIC FORD TRUCKS ALBUMS.

I am from PUERTO RICO and here there is no interest to preserve CLASSIC TRUCKS. On my way in a few days to a place were there is to say I will find 3 FORD N-SERIES TRUCKS, one of them a TANDEM AXLE one with a DIESEL ENGINE. Hope to get that one for free if OWNER wants to SCRAP it.

Got a lot to learn about CLASSIC TRUCKS , but I think I am passionate about it and I want others (specially my peers) to learn about the history of these forgotten trucks.

THANKS.

Some people call them cab overs, but technically they are considered a cab forward. Ford trucks prior to 1956 with the short hoods like the N series were called cabovers and had the C disignation. In 1957 Ford redesigned the C cab and make it a true cabover. When Ford started building the N series in 1963 they called them a cab forward. In 1961 the H model arrived on the scene and was a C cab that was raised high enough to allow a Cummins diesel to be set under it. The H model was replaced in 1966 with the W series cab over.
