I'd like to be totally sure before ordering the part though. Could it be the other bearing up there (needle bearing?) Also, I was advised to buy the Timken assembly from rockauto. I'm SRW 4x4, but they have one with fine thread studs and one with coarse thread studs (coarse is about $15 more.) Are these the wheel studs? How can I be sure which I have?

Thanks,

Hi Jack, yes the wheel studs is what they are talking about. Your truck should have the coarse thread wheel studs. I believe the change was made in 2002 to fine thread.

Best way to know for sure is to check a wheel stud with a pitch gauge.
