if you can find a parts counter man that is willing to look it up in a book, the float is available.
BUT the current crop of parts counter men are lazy bartstards that refuse to lift a finger to help a customer. if it is not listed in the computer, it is no longer available.
lucky for me, i have very good countermen at my local dealership, and the dealership owner is not a thief, so he don't care if his countermen sell a $10 float over a $200 pump/sender Assembly
my guys believe it is better to help customers and get them to come back than it is to rip them off for a quick one time sale.
