I have not seen any particular brand that I could recommend over any other, but I will offer some thoughts.

The best answer is a second automotive battery and a dual-battery isolator.

If you want one of the portable jump start battery kits, get one without all the fancy gadgets (like an air compressor). You can get a good notion of the capacity simply from the weight. Take a good look at the cables and clamps provided. Make sure the cables are long enough that you can hook it up and set it somewhere safe while you start the truck, and of course, that the clamps are sturdy and well designed. Avoid plastic clamps because they tend to break at the pivot point, especially when cold.

Try to get one that has not been sitting around on the shelf for a long time.

Read and follow the directions for charging and maintaining the jump start battery.
