You attach them on the linkage brackets that mount the board to the frame.....pictures attached. So, when the board is triggered to retract down, the light kit is also triggered to turn on and as the brackets fold down the lights are on the front of them illuminating the board. That's where they mount.....as far as how they wire up? I leave that to my install techs at the store and AMP's customer service department LOL
