Well, we looked at the CAC while parked and throttling up to 2800 rpm. The silicon hoses appear to be "filling" with air and not leaking. I can't hear my problem without a load on the engine but while driving, it sounds like it is a driver side issue. I am going to look into replacing the boots and any other parts you guys tell me to look at. Does anyone have either part numbers or part descriptions so I sound like less of a moron than I am when I try to order them? I want to try to do this myself to save on the larceny complaint I'd have to file after having my local dealer do it. (trust me, he tried to get me for $700 to change the alternator. The dealer I bought the truck from had to eat that. One year and one week later, with less than 4,000 miles on it, I had to put another one in. $265 for the part and 4 minutes to change it out.)
