You have a lot to learn about the stolen vehicle "chop shop" biz, kiddo. Sadly, most peeps get away with it.

And, considering the circumstances (listed in the 1973/79 forum) inre to how quickly it was stolen, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this was an "inside job."

Someone who knew the owner (or knew someone that did) was aware he was going someplace, lied in wait...watching for the opportunity to steal it.

Peeps do not think, post pics of their vehicles on the internet with license plates plainly visible. You don't have to look very far to see a perfect example of this.

Some even take pics of their vehicles in their driveways and/or in front of their residences where their address and/or street signs are visible.

Pics should be taken in places (like parks) where only nature is visible in the background. And...cover up the license plates! Or blank 'em out after downloading the pics into your puters.
