Dont know much about the mach systems but, there is a remote wire that should turn the amp on when the radio comes on like a relay. But I would think that it would be rare that something would happen to this wire unless someone had had the amp or head unit out. Try checking with a trouble light or a volt/ohm meter and make shuer you have power at the amp first before you replace.
