Jlower, are you talking about running your engine on pure propane, with no diesel at all? If so I have bad news for you. The heat of compression in a diesel engine doesn't get high enough to ignite a pure propane/air mixture -- it needs an external ignition source, such as the small amount of diesel injected at idle.
