Do you use a 1/2 ratchet on your fuel cap. I did on mine and it cracked around the ratchet point creating a leak. Couldn't see the crack until I put the ratchet in and twisted. Another possibility
Don't use a 1/2" ratchet..Most auto supply stores sell the correct socket for about 7.00 (Lisle 14500 Oil Filter Socket)
