How cold does it get were you to?
Can you take notice of the exhaust on the first start in the morning start and let it idle for 2-3 Mins.
Mine does not blow the black smoke/unburnt fuel in huge amounts but if you look at the exhaust it's black.
This seems to be a Random on cold starts for me. I will take more notice now.
