Welcome to FTE

This industrial flywheel part number is not correct if the engine is installed in a truck! And, it's not considered an industrial engine if installed in a vehicle.

6375 is the Ford basic part number for a flywheel (Ford does not use the term flexplate, flywheel is used if A/T or M/T) / 6384 is the basic number for a flywheel ring gear, but...

Ford did not supply a ring gear for an A/T flywheel with gas engines. Only for M/T's with gassers.

Please, when asking questions, list all the pertinent info: Year, Model, Series, (Engine/Trans and etc. if applicable).

A fire truck could one of several series, so please post the VIN...if the truck the engine came from is still extant. When decoded, that will give the series, engine size, year and etc.

Transmatic is Ford's name for the Allison A/T trans, and depending on the year, it could be one of 5 different models, with 4 different flywheels.

Post the TRANS code as listed on the Warranty Plate...if the vehicle is still extant.

The engine ID tag was bolted either to the coil bracket or to the intake manifold adjacent to the distributor. By now, it's prolly missing.

If the vehicle is not extant...do you recall the year? And if 1973 and later, if it was a C Series Tilt Cab, F Series, L Series, or?

Is there a P.T.O. present?
