Turbo seals tend to blow smoke just on take-off, esp from stoplights. Check the smell - should be burnt oil, not diesel or sweet (coolant). You can also look in the exhaust side outlet and look for oil residue (disconnect the downpipe from the turbo and look in with a flashlight and mirror). Check the pics in my album.

It could be something else...
