I'd go with an after market selectable locker...

I'd go with an after market selectable locker like an ARB if one is available. That way you can run it locked at speeds above 25 if you want to.

I would still coat the aluminum parts. Aluminum doesn't rust like steel but it still corrodes, just a lot slower.
