Have you had some repair to the frame on drivers side? Looks like maybe some welding there. Can you measure from the top of the frame to top of spring on each side? Just need to find some...

I think it maybe because they are under so much...

I think it maybe because they are under so much spring load if greased properly there is no need for them to roll.

Thanks Fladoodle I am definately missing that piece. I ended up mounting mine directly to the ABS headliner. Seems to be plenty sturdy.

Thanks guys, looks different than my dome light. But I think you are onto something in that I seem to be missing the bracket the light mounts to.
